Ren
- Female
- Ren’s actualy name means “lotus” (蓮), but when she takes the job, she uses the term “lead, alliance” (連)
- Mistaken as a male by Jae, she now takes the job as a butler in the Kintoki Cafe
- She seems to be shy around most of the members except for Jae, Barako, and Maku
Jae
- Actually female
- Jae’s name, which is quite masculine, is actually Korean (재), but she has done a rough translation of her name into Japanese (ジャエ)
- Head of the Butler Department in the cafe and the one who hired Ren and Maku
- She’s Japanese-Korean which is the reason why she’s not very talkative towards many, though she opens up to Ren
Maku
- Male
- Maku’s actual name is Mark, but it was roughly translated into Maku (マク) by the maids who soon gave him the nickname Makkun (マックン)
- He’s very popular with the female customers as they like to try to speak English with him and his sentence structures are very formal
- An American-Japanese transfer student in the same high school as Ren, he’s one year older than her
Barako
- Female
- Barako, whose name means “rose child” (バラコ) and rather be called Barahime in the cafe, is the Head of the Maid Department of Kintoki Cafe
- She’s very laid back as she does not care that Ren nor Jae is a female; just as long as they do the job well, they can stay
- She’s probably Jae’s first close friend so they like to work things out for the cafe together
